Six of us departed Erie Municipal Airport on a calm, clear morning in three light sport aircraft. A little under an hour and a half later we arrived at our destination... Sidney, Nebraska. The Gobosh 700, being the fastest of the bunch made it to Sidney first, but the others were not too far behind, and we managed to land pretty much together (thanks in part to the Gobosh conducting a couple 360 degree turns to allow the others to catch up). Only one other airplane sneaked in between Skyraider 1 (the Gobosh) and Skyraider 2 (the SportStar). Skyraider 3 (the Remos) landed right behind the SportStar. Despite the bit of separation, we all managed to park together. It wasn't long before the pilots and crew of the Skyraider fleet were enjoying a fantastic pancake breakfast together. After filling up on pancakes, swapping airplane stories, and checking out the other airplanes that flew in, we all hopped back into our aircraft and flew direct back to Erie. It was a great little trip!
